This project...
I have a full year of maternity leave thanks to a fantastic husband who encourages me with my entrepreneurial venture and helps facilitate my adventurous spirit. I spent the last 8 years as a middle school and high school math teacher. I've loved so much of it, but education today hurts my heart and this sweet baby girl of mine expands my heart and fills it with joy every second. (Even as we contemplate heading into the land of sleep training because I spend a lot of time up in the middle of the night with her.)
While we live here in Boston, I want to make the most of it. I haven't really lived in a city before, with museums, events and parks so close and such rich history all around. Would I want to live here forever? Probably not. We're a military family and only stationed here for a total of 2 years. So I need a plan of attack for exploring the city and the math teacher in me is pretty concrete, sequential and linear thinking. I also like colors. Lines and colors.... well that's like an orange line, blue line, red line, green line and silver line:: the MBTA T lines!

Follow along as I go to visit every stop on each of the T lines with my little co-pilot. There's 130 stops and we plan to see them ALL! I predict there will be lots of #babywearing in our Ergo, which actually lends itself well to #breastfeeding at the same time. As a lactating mammal I can out eat just about everyone, or so it feels like. Serious snacking is likely to take place. I also love a good coffee shop, even though I'm a tea drinker. When we opt for a little more space, I'll bring our #bobstroller along. The dog might even make an appearance if he's good.
Please reach out if you have suggestions of what we should do at a certain stop- especially if it’s a visit to you!
We’re starting with the Orange Line.... All Aboard!!
If you want to skip the text and get the picture book version, our IG handle is @takingthetwithbaby
